Studying the life of the Prophet (S) and his companions is our means to loving the Deen and appreciating the heritage all Muslims share. To love the Prophet (S) is an ibadah, and fardh (obligatory) on every believer. Allah (SWT) says: Say (O Muhammad): "If you do love Allah, Follow me: Allah will love you and forgive you your sins: For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful" [3:31]. This course seeks to illuminate our lives with the examples of those who succeeded before us: Companions who were imams, teachers, and military generals; fathers and mothers, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, and true friends.
